Saturday, September 29, in the morning, the elected officials of Plaine-Haute, the mayors of neighboring municipalities and representatives of associations were present for the inauguration of the new leisure area at Porte Champagne. The Place des enfants, in gallo, Piace des garçailles is ideally located in the heart of Plaine-Haute, next to the schools, the sports hall and the bowling alley. It is made up of a city stadium, a playground and a picnic area.
“The reflection began following the request of three young people from Plenalto”, explains the mayor, Isabelle Oger. Today this new intergenerational play area is well attended. The public is diverse: young people who come to relax by practicing sports activities, parents who sit there to taste it after school, hikers who stop there, not to mention the childminders who appreciate the games for children. smaller. A rollerblading track around the city-stadium completes the unanimously appreciated equipment.
€ 17,500 in grants
Local companies were called upon for this project: Jean-Pierre Darcel for the earthworks, SPTP of Ploufragan for the asphalt mix, Tréguier of Plussulien for the fences and landscaping and Synchronicity of Guidel for the supply of the city-stadium. All for a total cost of € 75,000. The operation was subsidized to the tune of € 17,500 by regional and European funds under the Europe-Region-Country partnership contract.
